Hey all,

OK, this is making me loopy: I have a DBF which contains filed-names that match verbs/nouns in SQL. On upsizing, these fields are appended with an underscore. No problems there. Well, we have some SQL tables that need to access these SQL tables, but the legacy SQL code references these fields without underscores, and we have no access to that code. I have constructed a simple test table CMS which consists of ORDER I, DESCRIPTION C(10), PK (primary-key, of course). I have no trouble generating the cursor using the CA, but updates do not work. here I have isolated the problem code:
update CMS SET
[ORDER] = ?CMS.ORDER,
DESCRIPTION = ?CMS.DESCRIPTION,
PK = ?CMS.PK
WHERE pk = ?CMS.pk
...errors out, whereas this works fine...
update CMS SET
DESCRIPTION = ?CMS.DESCRIPTION,
PK = ?CMS.PK
WHERE pk = ?CMS.pk
What is the proper syntax to send parameterized commands to SQL from VFP when the DBF contains a verb like this?
