The reaction from Israel has perhaps been an overreaction but I don't have any sympathy for Hezbollah or its sponsors, Iran and Syria. As Jim Croce wrote in a song a long time ago, you don't tug on Superman's cape. The Israelis were itching for a chance to settle some scores and Hezbollah handed it to them on a platter.
