I have created a simple ASP.NET web service that accesses a Visual FoxPro database to return a set of values based on parameters supplied.

Everything works fine, of course, on the development machine, but when deployed, it hangs on .fill with an exception saying "Invalid Path or Filename". The database is located in a folder on the same local hard drive of the web server as the root web directory, but not in a virtual directory of IIS (using IIS 5, btw) for security reasons.

From everything I've seen and read on the web about this error, it seems like a security issue, but I've tried everything I can think of including adding the ASPNET Machine User Account and the internet user account as users of the database folder, with full access rights, but this hasn't helped, either.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm sure it's something very simple that I'm overlooking...
