I'll wait on this one.

>Some of it has been there for decades. For instance, the LA Country seal. Given the history of California, I think a little-tiny cross is appropriate. But they couldn't even tolerate that.
My country has removed the communist red star from all of its flags, seals and crests, so what.
In case you had trouble reading the question, it was not about "who removed what from where". I repeat: which
other religion has tried to
put their PR stuff in public places here?
>>They believe they have the right to impose their definition of marriage upon everyone. I think they just want to exercise as much power over other people's lives as possible.

>They're not forcing anything.
Au contraire, mon ami. If they manage to pass any of this as a law, it becomes en
forceable. We already have laws in at least one state, where a raped woman is forced to bring pregnancy to term. Or to move to another state.
>To me it's about justice, not whether it works or not. You murder others, then you lost your right to live.
>BTW. the other way doesn't work either.
By itself, not. Just repealing the death penalty wouldn't change much of anything here, except maybe remove one of the heaviest complaints that the rest of the world has about the state of affairs in the States. However, the social techniques which keep the crime rate low in other countries are not even considered here. Probably the NIH (not invented here) syndrome.
