Well, I'm not most women, but I am one woman. I've always had the option of not working, and have chosen to work since my youngest was two years old. I've always adjusted my schedule to be available to my kids, but I'd have gone nuts not working.

Also, fwiw, I've invested many, many hours in my community and my kids' schools.
