There was a comedian who died not long ago while in his 30's, Bill Hicks. He was one of those tell it like it is, brutal type of guy's. One of his last gigs was on Letterman. And much of it got censored. I don't have the exact qoutes in front of me, but from what I read 2 comments in particular irked the censors:

- What's with all these people wearing crosses around their necks. If I was jesus planning on making a return trip back to hear. I really don't think I want to be reminded of that day.
- At the time, the US was planning a military operation somewhere. He made the comment that if they really wanted to put the military to good use, they should use the tanks to break down the church doors that had been locked to protect the pedo ministers.
