I remember growing up. A family living in the same neighborhood as us seemed to have a lot of disfunction. It seems the wife was a well regarded psychologist who travelled frequently giving speeches. I think the husband was a teacher, or something similar in salary. So he was subservient to her in the money chart.

it scared for their own ego image, ergo genuinely weak. They may play macho to cover their asse(t)s, but they are not up to task.
