First - remember that CA MASS TRANSIT VFP project the UT mag wrote up a few years ago - you should sharpen your pencil and share you project with us.

It's certainly a fine looking (SEXy) GUI! It does not seem to be an XP Screen shot.

What is that tabular object and color coded bars all about - is it a grid - what is it?

It looks [almost] like an MRP or CPM charter. What did you guys build that with? Is it a desktop - LAN or Inernet connect to the data? Who's doing the data?

Do the color coded bars fire with a COM event binder - or does it use a manual ot timed refresh?

Was the GUI inspired by a legacy system? Where did you guys get the idea? How many of you worked on it - how long did it take?

I am in awe of your project as I am in awe of MicroSoft allowing you to compete with it - MS "Partner", huh? - who do I have to b..(ooops!).

Thank you - at the least - for putting such a clean professional and sexy face on what can be done with VFP when it is in the right hands - Bravo Wayne! Bravo!

>>>Winner - Database management solutions sales & marketing partner of the year
>>>Finalist - Technology Innovation Partner of the Year

>>>I thought you all might be happy to hear that a VFP application won in one category and was a finalist in another. These awards are Microsoft Partner awards.
>>>
>>>You can see the application that won here - www.lifetractech.com
>>
>>Can anyone compete in these so-called "Partner Awards"?
>>
>>I remeber when GE capital sponsored some "excellence" award thingie. But after I read that, I went to GE in Connecticut and met with some Technicians about a VFP app I had - the techs - VB heads - played hard to get - and were also allowed to say "no" before I moved up the procurement chain. 6 months later they were trying to learn a new programming language - VB was snuffed!
>>
>>Do the compeditirs have to belong to something or wear "I do it to MS reps" T-shirts - or are they taking anyone off the street that has a hankering to compete?
