We are going to go with Pocket PC's with Mobile 5.0. These will be used as barcode scanners in our steel manufacturing plant here in Irwindale, California. We've been using old DOS scanners; the man before me in this job who retired would not move past Windows 95 for PC's and Scanners using DOS. Well, he is retired now as of last year. The only problem is that I don't know anythign about all this new stuff, these little PC's. I guess it's time to learn. Too bad FoxPro can't be used to program these little guys, or can it? Can you use .NET for Mobile 5.0 programs?

>I think "best" is relative and you'll get people on both sides. Having owned both, I much prefer the Pocket PC. Handwriting recognition is much better, the UI is easier to use, and they synch is better (but still lots of room for improvement).
