>>Inflammatory? The mere fact that there are separate categories of people living in the same country is reason enough for any such citizen to rebel against the system. The situation is flammable per se.

http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/myths/mf14.htmlI've seen other websites that pull other conclusions from the same events. Specifically, that at least one of the three organizations of the time (Irgun, Lehi, Nagana) was a terrorist organization.
This still doesn't change the status of occupied territories - they are occupied today just like they were yesterday, and the people there aren't equal citizens. They will rebel until they feel equal. If they continue rebellion beyond that point, they'll lose any sympathy they earned.
Just like I think Israel lost it by continuing occupation, flattening villages Vukovar-style, bombing civilians, constantly defying UN resolutions for decades, arresting legally elected representatives, turning Gaza into a closed camp etc. While I don't have much sympathy for methods employed by Arab fighters (see my other message to Tamar about children shield tecnhique), official Israel looks worse.
