That would be super.
Specifically I want to convert Mark McCassland's Dynazip classes to vcx in order to understand them better.
BTW, I have DynaZip 4.0 with which I've implemented a backup screen in our app using the ActiveX componets. Now I'm planning a new use and would like to take the opportunity to create a simpler programming interface, which is why I'm revisiting Mark's class. I saw your message in UT that Mark's class does not wirk with version 5 of Dynazip.
In the process of creating a simpler interface I want to consider all options, including upgrading DynaZip, dfpug.fll, xtandard, etc. A really important consideration is simplicity of installation (I like including xxx.dll_ in project and extracting it if necessary). On the other hand, for this particular app I will be excluding files and storing relative path, not full path, which I don't think xstandard or dfpug.fll allow.
What do you recommend?
Thank you for the great help you provide in UT. I have learned a lot from your answers, including the stored ones.
Alex
