Hypothetical situations are somewhat challenging to address (especially in this crowd) - but - here goes...

We would discuss it and try to work out a solution that would be pleasing to both of us.

If she still insisted that she work and I still insisted that she not work, I would most likely seek the counsel of an Elder (and probably his wife) at our church. We would work out a plan to address the issue. If it is a case where my wife is just being obstinant, we would address that using the principles in Matthew 18. If the Elder thought I was the one who was at fault, I would ask my wife's forgiveness and we would pursue finding her a job.

Diviorce would not be an option as far as I'm concerned.
