just a WAG here. I would guess thetime difference is due to a SETting that is different in your development environment to what it is in your runtime environment. My first guess would be to check SET("ANSI"), but maybe you could display all the various SETtings just prior to opening the view in the runtime and compare it to when you are running in the development environment.
