I'm not sure if I fully understand what you're asking, but from what I gather it seems like you're asking if you can store individual user's data in under one directory name and then re-name the directory depending on their login. As long as the directory name does not conflict with one already in existence, the answer would be yes. This, however, seems to limit the location to a local drive, rather than a networked one.
