I understand that, and in many points, this is quite similar to my own point of view as a Bahá'í.

But I think this doesn't answer my question, which I will now rephrase as: "Do you think that a Christian should make an effort to obey each and every law of both the New and the Old Testament, many of which seem quite obsolete today?" - Like the law of levirate marriage.
