You've gotten to the whole root of the problem for me. 15 years ago I could study history and think, "oh that will never happen hear, people won't allow it". But howie is living proof the extent people will let themselves get lead today. Religion is just a microcosm of life, with religion used to keep those in power, in power, and all the subjucates in line.
