>>>Sorry Greg. I did say it doesn't exist. If you DO want similar inspiration just listen to some gansta rap. Reckon it's easier to understand "King James" language though :-)

>>When my step-kids visit, they bring some of that rap with them. My rule of the house about it is simple enough even for them to understand. "Play it and lose it." Last Christmas, we had over a dozen CDs hanging from our tree. It was the only thing I could find them good for. Or maybe as beer can coasters.

>>P.S. One day I caught myself saying the words I swore I would never say to my children. "TURN THAT CR@P DOWN!!!!" I will never be the same again.

>HA HA! Been there, but at least we're conscious of it, eh! OTOH I only complain at the teeny-bopper cr@p - they haven't got to the thrash stage yet. OTOH2 I'm fairly progressive and ecumenical in my taste anyway. But I can't stand kids' TV!

>Re: rap. Whatever happened to the pleasant poems put to recycled music of our day, like the original: "Rappers' Delight", before the 'Ho's and Bitches, and poppin' caps got into it?

Speaking of kids' TV, what happened to all the cartoons. Saturday morning use to be full of cartoons. Now only Fox network carries them. And then, thay are such poor quality that I would not even allow my cat to watch them in fear it would stunt his mental growth. (He can almost open his own can of cat food.) Even Cartoon Channel and Nickolodean (sp?) seem to consider last years cartoons as classics. Where is Super Chicken when we need him?
