>>Speaking of kids' TV, what happened to all the cartoons. Saturday morning use to be full of cartoons. Now only Fox network carries them. And then, thay are such poor quality that I would not even allow my cat to watch them in fear it would stunt his mental growth. (He can almost open his own can of cat food.) Even Cartoon Channel and Nickolodean (sp?) seem to consider last years cartoons as classics. Where is Super Chicken when we need him?

>My kids watch "Pinky and the Brain"? - that's cool. As for the rest - I just shudder and hot foot through the TV room so's not to see any of it. :-) Don't get Fox network, but UK TV is generally higher quality than over there.
"Pinky and the Brain". I like it too. Unforunately, I do not see it listed anymore. Perhaps it is not violent enough for the american kids taste. Maybe if the remade it in more a japenesse Anime kungfu fashion the american kids may like more. Thats it. Image Bugs Bunny do a half hour fighting others using kungfu. No plot. No intelligable dialog. Just endless fighting. Like they do in
DragonBall Z cartoon.

>Don't know Super Chicken but my kids are missing out on Yogi, Pixey & Dixey, Deputy Dawg, Snagglepus, and all that lot.
You don't know
Super Chicken? Back in the '70s, Super Chicken, George Of The Jungle and Tom Slick saved the world nearly every day.

>Funny, Scooby-Doo is as, if not MORE, popular than when I was a kid. Mine lap up any of that cr@p TV shows, DVDs, merchandise, which I can't STAND! (or is it just Casey Cason's voice?)
I stopped watching Scooby-Doo when they added Scrappy-Doo. The little dog was soooooo annoying.
