Daniel,

>No, "staged" as in it was done purely for the benefit of the photographers. We don't know, in fact, if it was done at the request of them or not. Regardless, it wouldn't have happened except for the fact of twelve cameras being there.

What you say reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Bart and Skinner, while in the Astronomy building find a comet falling towars the earth, then after the day is miracously saved, Homer shouts, looking at the building: "Let's burn this building so this won't happen again" (completely paraphrased)

If you read the blog, and even this biased blog (for me is just a list of excuses of why the kids wrote in the missiles "They were poor and uneducated" "They live close to the border" "They were 5 days inside shelters" "scared and out of their minds" etc) the parents started the writings, there is not a mention that the photographers payed them or even suggested them to do it so, they were just there taking photos, their job.

>A stupid act (kids have no business being around live ordnance of any type) which is being blown way out of proportion by the Arab media. It's apparently ok for them to pose THEIR kids with weapons, or dressed up as suicide bombers.

So, the ordnance was just lying there waiting for some kids to write on it? Interesting that in times of war the Israelí army leaves weapons unattended so the kids can play with them and the photographers can get their stage.

And regarding your last comment, how can be so sure that is ok for them, how can you be so sure that those photos were not staged? Do you think the demonizing is a one way street?
