The Jews thing is quite the connumdrum. They (the wingnuts) want the US to help Israel with their problems with their neighbors. You, as a layman, would think to yourself, ahhh, they are being good christians and looking out for their common man.

But not so fast oh raptured one. It seems they (once again, the wingnuts) want this aid to Israel to occur to a certain point in time. They believe Israel has to occomplish certain goals in order for the rapture to occur.

They then feel (yet once again the wingnuts, howie please stand up, so we can see you one last time before rapture), that once the stars are aligned, or the stock market has hit the correct level, or the Beatles have gotten back together, or whatever these required events are, have occured, jesus will make his triumphunt return. Only to have to slug it out with Satan, murdering all the non-believers in the process. Jews being at the top of the list of non-believers are scheduled to die a painful death in the process.

Quite neighborly of these folks to have these beliefs, no? Please tell me why these wingnuts are any differebt then muslim fundamentalists?

>>>Please understand that I am not suggesting that women be stifled. Women have, do and will continue to make a great contribution to our world. Just as it relates to spiritual leadership in the home and in the church - I believe - the Bible has dictated that men lead.
>>>
>>>P.S. I have NEVER - EVER stated or even thought that women should stay at home barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. I really don't understand why everyone keeps bringing that up. I agree that is a wrong view of women. I think you and others are unfairly characterizing my beliefs when you use phrases like that.

>>So let's ask some specific questions.

>>1) Does your wife work outside the home?
>>
>>2) If not and she wanted to, would that be okay with you?
>>
>>3) Do you think my husband was wrong in allowing (I have trouble typing that with a straight face) me to work all these years, even after we had children?
>>
>>4) I don't know how many children you have of what sexes, but assuming you have both sons and daughters, do you plan to offer them the same educational opportunities?

>Tamar, you do realize you're having this discussion with a person that absolutely believes that you, me, and all other non-believers are going to be spending an inordinate amount of time in Club Hell? See Message #1138466.

>Coincidentally I watched a program on NG or History channel last night about the rapture and did you know that these fundamentalist Christians not only believe we're all going to be without aircon but apparently they have an extra special hell/horror just for the Jews (for reasons I didn't quite follow).

>Now if we could only harness the energy source that drives hell we could be shod of the whole oil problem once and for all.
