I don't know, but I see no reason why it should be much bigger.
Your application may have grown due to deleted records in the class libraries, when you modified class libraries. Try to PACK them.
Also, check the debugging options for the project, perhaps you have debugging info disabled in VFP 6, and enabled in VFP 9. That may give approximately a 50% increase, according to my own quick tests.
