Now since this was explicitly forwarded to me...
That was the obvious intention of this pedagogic joke's author. However... had there been 100 straight people in any of the first two cases, my bet is that at least few of them would be found with their skulls cracked. And that not 100% would remain straight all the time.
And in the last case, my bet is that they'd be divided into clans pretty soon.
