I need to create a report/form using Crystal Report in VS 2005 that does not use a database. User will enter values in a bunch of textboxes, checkboxes, radio boxes and the report should print it in a Form format (e.g. Catering Request Form). I am looking for suggestions on how to pass the "data" to the Crystal Reports.
1. Do I need to create a Dataset and "manually" populate it with values of textboxes? If so, how do you "pass" this dataset to the CR? That is, when I insert a Text object in the Details band of CR, how do you "bind" this text object to a Dataset?
2. What other methods of passing the data would you recommend?
