Imagine us(/espeically me <g>) not reading every post 100% awake and not having all the the info you base your assumptions on - especially in this problem I feel like shooting almost blindly into the fog.

I didn't rebuild indexes this time. After that error I copied database from another place (Devdata), didn't reindex and run the process. Once again I got the error immediatelly.

I made some modifications in the program and now I'm running the process again on 4K file. Looks like it's going to finish without errors, I then reindex and run again for another big file.

All these tests are time consuming and so far I didn't come close to identifying the root of the problem or how can I speed up the process.

For one thing I have a theory, that I need to run LoadNewTrans and ProcessNewTrans as two separate processes and not as one process calling another. I hope to find a speed increase doing so.

The funny thing is, that both processes are written by my colleague and I doubt we will move into production my new improved versions anytime soon.

Anyway, I spent half of Sunday and night of Saturday working on this problem and right now I need to switch to my "life" tasks: go to the library, do shopping, laundry and buy presents for my son't birthday <g>
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
