Fair? Are the rules of engagement somehow perceived to be that if an organization such as Hezbollah kills 8 of your soldiers, that you are allowed to kill 8? Or 16?

Hezbollah, along with its supporters in Iran, have called for the destruction of Israel. Not that Israel return to pre-1967 borders, but that Israel be wiped off the face of the map. If indeed Israel limits it's killing of Hezbollah members, what is an acceptable number? Also, do you think that this problem isn't going to resurface? Do you think that Hezbollah is suddenly going to recognize Israel's right to exist and stop attacking them?
