I can't be responsible for what others write. If I point out something that annoys me, I say so. If someone else would have passed that, but is spurred into action by my writing, it's still his action. I'm in no way trying to gather a lynch mob.
Actually, if you go back up this thread, to the point where it was still just a benign and low-intensity dispute between Sam Ahn and me, you'll see it was Howard's "I didn't want to jump in here, but now I have to" where the avalanche began.
