Remember what I said: the results won't belong to the people, as no tax money will go straight into research. It will go in roundabout way, through at least three channels (Medicare plan D, protection of overpriced drugs from competition from abroad, and later through the much higher price of the end products), but that'll all be proprietary. Your genes will eventually be owned.

So it's murder when done with our money, but perfectly legal when done by Wall Street.
