>Well if that the case something is not working correctly because you can open the property sheet and the iif statement is there. Anyway i follow your recomendation and is working but I did not get answer to my BUG!. But is ok. I will give start to Cetin to help me debug the problem. And star to you for your recomendation. But I want both to understand that something in this version of VFP is not working right, i believe the line of code is inside of the property sheet is creating some kind of internal error that remove the line before execute the init.

Put in the Init of the grid

dodefault()
=messagebox("After Init DynamicBackColor is " + this.DynamicBackColor)

Run the form and see how many times it's executed and what would you get.

But I personally never set this property in the property sheet and always do it in code.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
