Edward if I may jump in here (with both feet) I have a question in a slightly different vein but definitely related that you may be able to help with. I have a parent record with a child grid (jobs) and a grandchild grid (lines). I am using a parameterized view for the lines grid. Everything works fine - but (always one of those ain't there) If the user makes changes to the item grid and then goes to the jobs grid without saving the changes and changes jobs, I get the "uncommitted changes ... " message as well. Do you know of any way to tell if a grid has lost focus - since there seems to be no LostFocus event for a grid - so that I can check for changes before going to another object. Any help you can give would be appreciated before I send it out to the gurus-at-large
