>No, I'm not saying that. To the best of my knowledge, the U.S. has always had veto power in regard to U.N. Security Council resolutions. However, the point is still the same. Nations tend to work in their own interests.

So... does this mean any nation should ignore any UN resolution as long as it perceives it contrary to its interest?
