>Do you "witness" to people who are not Christian? Before they ask you to? Do you ever hand out pamphlets? Do you see someone in need, then talk to them about Christ before you know if they have your belief? If so, then you are imposing your belief on others? If not, then doesn't that go against your religion about spreading the gospel?
Yes, we are supposed to share our faith with others. The Bible does not specify a method however... I prefer not to do the door-to-door "cold calling" sort of thing. It really doesn't seem to me to be the best approach. I'm not saying it's wrong - it just doesn't work for me.
I prefer to use the relationships the Lord has brought into my life (at work, sporting activities with my children, etc...) I wouldn't force anyone to listen to me. And...yes...I generally will start with asking what their beliefs are before I share mine.
I do have 4 people that I talk with regularly about the Gospel - my children.
