I'm fascinated to see people claiming that Israel does a good job with the media. Over and over, I encounter media bending over backwards to be "fair" to the Palestinians while failing to humanize Israelis. After a terrorist attack in Israel, the headline in US papers is almost always about the Israeli response and you get quotes from the poor, bereaved mother of the bomber, but not even the names of the Israelis who were killed.
