>So much love I feel like Pooh's honey pot... Ah, I got it now. It's ok for him to say it's not imposing to push views on someone else as long as they are good views, in his opinion? Makes sense.
Mostly those door-to-door peddlers are polite enough to get lost fast when they are asked whether they ever had anyone peddling unreligion at their doors (so they don't do to me what I don't do to them), but I did have one old hag who regularly picked on me when I was waiting for the bus. I figure I was 17 or so at the time.
Her approach was through vegetarianism - and that was all she was talking about - but when she eventually stuffed a brochure into my hands, and I read it when I got home, I saw she was a JWitness or the legwashed or the saturdayist or one of those which were operating in our area.
Next time she approached me, I just told her she shouldn't bother with me - I'm already 99% vegetarian: none of my alcohol is of animal origin, all my cigarettes are made exclusively from plants, if I ever contemplate suicide I don't think snake venom would do any better than good old oleander tea, and I never ever eat carnivore's meat, only herbivore's.
Never saw her again.
