I don't care whether it was the first time or not. You should not make those statements as they are sensitive and personal. They can hurt other peoples feeling and you really should not do so. Scaring people with ugly consequences when they don't do this or don't believe that worked beatifully in the past when people were less 'educated' but are regarded as dirty strategies, anti social and immoral in large parts of the western world.

There are parts of your religion you'd better keep private or within your fellows. For example, One could believe that blacks are dumb, arabs are anti-social and russians to be criminal, but it would be very, very unwise to express those believes (Note that I don't hove those believes).

>>Did it ever come up in your mind that with these comments you are hurting other people feelings? If it is not for the purpose of converting people, I don't see any reason to place those comments at all.

>It really shouldn't hurt anyone's feelings...unless they think there is some truth to it. As I stated earlier, if you indicated that I was going to Hell b/c I didn't believe like you, I would think you were wrong - but - my feelings would not be hurt and I would not put you down for your beliefs.

It can hurt someones feeling as it can be intepretated as an insult, It is the same as someone saying .NET applications are far superiour to VFP applications and that everyone who refuses to convert to the .NET religion is going to be doomed into eternity.

IOW, You're insulting people with other believes by making such statement indicating they are stupid not to adopt yours. Above all, we've seen these kind of statements being made by extremist and fundamentalist which gives your statement a very bad smell.
