I'm not denying that at all. I'm just trying to understand when it became acceptable to stand up and have your voice proclaim your moral superiority, while your actions show that technically you really have no morals.

I'm kind of curious how the K St. project compares to the old Daly Chicago political machine. Things just seem to have gotten completely out of hand today.

>>I am still a little shocked at the lack of outrage at the level of corruption within the republican party now. Is it unique. Of course not. But they've taken it to a new level. I'm not sure if the involvement of the christian right in these scandals indicates the typical hypocracy of those who profess to have the most morals, or the level we as a society in general have sunk to. That those who profess the most morals appear to be so morally corrupt.

>Perry, I see hypcrasy on both sides. I am more disturbed with the local party right now than the national one. Bush is starting to "get it" on the border, as I see it. We managed to force him into putting conservatives on the Supreme Court, but other than that I don't agree with much. The border needs to be sealed ASAP, then we can talk about what to do with all the illegals who are already here. I'm not opposed to assimilating them, after they pay a fine for breaking the law, back taxes, etc.

>You have to admit the Democrats aren't in any better shape. They have the screamer for their cheerleader, and you never know when he is going to go off again. I would say there is a dearth of leadership on both sids of the aisle.

(On an infant's shirt): Already smarter than Bush
