Luis:

You are not alone. Every good developer goes through that from time to time.
The main thing is not to dispair. Take a break. Take a deep breath and look at the issue or problem with a fresh perspective.

- What is it that is required of you?
- Do you have the skill set?
- If not, what do you nead to learn to acomplish the job? (assuming you ar ein the right job and you want to be a developer).

To learn, you must read, practice, try different small projects (or conversions of known previous projects) to learn from your mistakes.

Visual Developmment, OOP, N-Tier, COM, Data Access technologies and architecture are not easy subjects and are not mastered in a day. It takes hard work. And you have to constantly keep up with new knowledge and new technology.

If it was easy everybody would be doing it. Once you have a good skill set that puts you at the same level, or even better, above your peers you are doing good. But you cannot stop there. You must keep on learning to stay ahead.

That is the nature of this business.
