I catch them on the first read. I can't believe someone could actually read the book and not find them. Maybe it's the maxim of being too close to the trees to see the forest. They concentrate so hard on what they are editing/reviewing that they miss the obvious.
>I have read quite a few books lately containing errors where a homophone (note homonym) was used. It gets on my nerves when I am reading. I figured it was some automated spelling system that did that and not the author. How would it have made it by the editors?
