But since Win32 API provides a function to extract this information and considering that the registry keys for TimeZone are not documented, the right way is the API function. You know... MS might decide to change the way this info is stored in the future. The API function will still work, the other method... The API functions have another advantage: you don't need to worry about registry differences between WinXX and WinNT.
