In testing your problem, I could not get OpenTable('Amco!Customer') to work. I opened the table manually, made Customer my current work area, then SelectTag() displayed the form with the index tags to select from. If Customer was not current work area, I duplicated your problem, getting .f. returned from SelectTag('Customer').

I am sure Doug Hennig will see this thread and give us a better answer.
