Of course i read the article. And you may have missed my earlier post on the article where i note that the soldiers also say that they are "definately making progress". I find it interesting that you label "no one wants to be here", "could not care less", and "'Well, what did he die for?" as typical soldier bitching. Go re-read my post. I interpreted the comments by these soldiers as specific to these soldiers (these guys would like to get the hell out of there), not a general 'us'. I will admit that trying to illustrate the absurdity of the "want to lose" smear is not an exact science.
>>I just realized that if you apply David and Jake's logic analyzer algorithm to these soldiers' comments....

>>One could surmize that some of these guys would like to get the hell out of there now. And getting the hell out of there now, according to the algorithm, means these guys want the US to lose.

>Did you even bother to read the article? Nowhere did I see any soldier make any statements about the US getting out now. Soldiers bitch, and rightly so - it's their butts on the line over there. But to interpret their comments as that they want us to pull out is misinterpretation. I have my own set of expletives for that, but I decline to stoop to your level.
