>I'm curious about other cities. I've just run some reports that I posted on my
MemphisCrime blog and was wondering if anyone had any similar statistics for your city.
Sunnyvale, California is the fifth safest city based upon size, and ranks 18th nationally.

At the beginning of the year for the last few years a statement is made about crime nationwide. Why is it that the statistics are now defined as the following: Violent crime has decreased and murder and rape have increased.
I always thought that murder and rape are violent crimes. I guess that giving such crimes a separate category makes “violent crime” figures look as if they have improved.
I remember Memphis in April of 1960. What a great city and friendly peiople!
