And I've known women who've been raped...then humiliated at the guy's trial...and end up committing suicide because they couldn't 'take it anymore'. Dead's dead no matter how it comes and the only difference here is that this 16 year old had no choice.
And I've never said it wasn't harsh. It is.
And before people start jumping again, yes..I've also known women who have been raped, lived to tell about it, survived the trial and got on with their lives.
