SET ENGINEBEHAVIOR 70 and SET ENGINEBEHAVIOR 80 should be renamed to "Set wrong results on", since they will in many cases not give you the correct result! It was not without a good reason that VFP changed the SQL engine to behave more like ANSI SQL.

Treat SET ENGINEBEHAVIOR 70 and SET ENGINEBEHAVIOR 80 as band aid to stop the immidiate bleeding, before you change the code to really fix the problem before the problem increases.
