Many people who come to this forum are in the same situation.
You will usually get a useful answer, whether you ask a very specialized question, of the kind where only a few members here can even understand the question, or one which you might be afraid to ask because you think it is a "stupid question". Don't be afraid to ask, most of us are quite understanding in this respect, and know that it is difficult in the beginning.
