I spent my early years growing up in the Northeast. I went to happy hour on friday with some coworkers. All of whom also emigrated out west from the e. coast.

We discussed how bad crime is back there now. In Philadelphia, the mayor had to get on the news to apologize for the number of murders that have occurred there so far this year. I think they've had a significant number just within the last month. Cleveland is now in the running for the murder capital of the US.

None of the cities anyone was from can be happy with the current crime stats.

>I know about the Federal Crime Stats (UCR Reports) They don't detail this kind of data though. I dug these data out, because I could. I guess other jurisdictions don't want it known.
