Actually, there's already a war for your attention. The inroads are made when someone finds yet another place where you were previously left alone where now an ad can be inserted.
I've assumed that the usual bon-ton for posting video content is to at least edit out the ads. Not only the poster failed to do that, but the narrator also sounds like he's selling something. Which is when I usually flipt the channel.
Maybe I'm just a staunch non-consumer, or maybe I'm the new kind of customer. Ads usually turn me off.
