If you include that, your EXE gets about 50% bigger, in my experience. If you omit it, you can't get the line number where an error ocurred, in your error handler.

"Encrypted" is supposed to make your EXE harder to decompile, but IIRC, standard decompilation programs like Refox don't have the least trouble with it.

First of all, the user can get the information manually, by checking the EXE properties (right-click, "Properties").

To show the information from within the EXE... I hope someone else can help you with that. I have seen it somewhere. Perhaps in the download section.
