Done that once in FPD2.0, and I actually stole some escape sequences from a graphic, and stuffed them into a memo... creating digits about 4x6", and printing them one after another using ??? command (or was it fopen() on a lpt port?). It fit nicely six digits on an landscape A4 sheet - which was good enough for the forklift driver to see even if they were somewhat covered in ice (this was a frozen storage hall).
