I've been using 5.0 pretty intensely since October 5. Indeed, there are many situations that crash 5.0 or leave the development environment unuseable. This seems especially likely when using the debugger or the project manager. There are apparently some states in which the project manager finds itself (based on structure of project) where it consistently crashes VFP when cycling through the process of: design form, run it, and then automatically return to form designer.. On return to the designer, VFP crashes. When using the debugger, you will often find VFP unwilling to recompile souce code you have been debugging even after you've closed the debugger. The crashes are so frequent that I'm guessing MSFT will likely release a patch or minor update before too long.
