>Hi all,

>We have a support issue here from a client who has been using the system for 7 years. It seemed to have stop writing to a certain table.
>After a while I figured if I delete one record and packed the table, the program could go back to writing to the file without any problems. I tried packing withour a delete and that didn't work. I was surprised it reached some sort of limit. I though they could take up to 2 GB. The .dbf file is only 493KB.
>I was wondering does anyone have an explanation about why it suddenly stopped. Also is there a way to pack the file without having to delete one record?
